Mastering is about balance.
I’m obsessed with audio-quality and am highly analytical, but I balance those strengths with an holistic and intuitive approach to my clients and their music.
Mastering music is like simultaneously alphabetizing and color-coding a book collection. There are significant constraints within which to work, yet something more beautiful than before must be imagined. Mastering is best done in a way that is transparent and minimal yet it makes a significant difference to the perceived quality of a production – fully supporting the creative intent of the producer and mix engineer.
